Mission Statement:
To provide education and job training services to eligible youth,
adults, and dislocated workers that are residents of Somerset,
Wicomico or Worcester Counties.
This website was
created to help employers and jobseekers understand and be able to utilize
the Workforce Development System
MWDA members and their partners have devised. Hopefully the
information contained in these pages will answer your questions
and simplify your search for solutions to your workforce needs.
The LSPIC, Inc., trading as the
Lower Shore Workforce Alliance in
partnership with Chief Local
Elected Officials from Worcester, Wicomico, and Somerset Counties provides
policy and oversight for
Workforce Investment Act (WIA) funds and programs. WIA services are
primarily delivered at the
One-Stop
Job Market located at 917 Mount Hermon Road in
